Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a food production manufacturing facility in Buena Park, CA. This is a temp-to-hire overnight position paying $28.60/hr, Monday–Friday on 3rd shift. In this role, you will set up, adjust, and time production equipment, troubleshoot and repair defective machinery, and overhaul and rebuild equipment and component assemblies. This is a long-term placement with consistent overnight hours at an established food production facility.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete work order assignments on production equipment throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair defective mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Overhaul and rebuild equipment and component assemblies.
- Perform maintenance welding and soldering in the repair of parts using stick, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and gas (oxyacetylene) methods.
- Read and work from equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Verify proper operation of machinery after repairs using alignment equipment, micrometers, and electronic test instruments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 year of experience as a maintenance mechanic or electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience performing preventive maintenance using a formal work order or CMMS system
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a mechanic or electrician in an industrial environment.
- Welding experience with stick, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and gas (oxyacetylene) processes.
- Experience operating a milling machine and lathe.
- Familiarity with electronic and instrument test equipment, alignment equipment, and micrometers.
- Prior experience in a food production, beverage, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience using hand and shop tools including drill press and hydraulic press.
- Ability to read equipment manuals and work from technical documentation.
