Connect Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a wire manufacturing facility in Fontana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire day shift position paying $18.66/hr. In this role, you will set up and operate wire weaving machines to produce wire mesh products, monitoring wire tension and weave patterns to meet production specifications. This is a steady Monday–Friday schedule with long-term placement potential.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wire weaving machines according to production specifications and work orders.
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
- Load wire materials onto machines and maintain continuous operation throughout production runs.
- Record production data, quality checks, and downtime accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities on wire weaving equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 months year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating weaving, wire processing, textile, or other industrial machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with 5S workplace organization standards.
- Experience inspecting finished products for dimensional compliance using measuring tools.
- Prior work in wire, cable, mesh, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read measuring devices and interpret production specifications.
