Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Orange, TX Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour, depending on experience Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Schedule:

· Monday–Friday

· 7:00 AM until finish

· Some Saturdays may be required depending on workload

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable Heavy Equipment Operators to operate heavy-duty dozers and trackhoes (excavators) in a sandpit environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals who demonstrate strong performance, safety awareness, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate dozers and trackhoes to move, level, and load material

· Load dump trucks efficiently and accurately

· Operate equipment without laser guidance technology

· Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns

· Follow all company and site safety policies

· Participate in daily and monthly safety meetings

· Maintain situational awareness and safe work practices

· Work closely with supervisors and site personnel

Requirements:

· Prior experience operating dozers and/or trackhoes

· Experience in a sandpit or similar environment preferred

· Ability to operate equipment without laser technology

· Valid Driver’s License required

· Strong safety mindset and reliability

· Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience loading dump trucks

· Willingness to learn and be trained on-site

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Training:

· Client is willing to train the right candidate who has a good attitude and some relevant equipment experience
