Responsibilities
- Sort and organize physical files for an office filing system.
- File documents into the correct folders, binders, or cabinets.
- Identify and correct misfiled documents.
- Label folders and tabs accurately to maintain filing order.
- Handle documents carefully to avoid damage or loss.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with physical filing systems such as alphabetical, numerical, or date-based organization.
- Familiarity with basic office supplies and equipment (file cabinets, label makers, binders).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail when handling and sorting paperwork.
- Experience in a records management, legal, medical, or administrative office setting.
- Previous experience in an office, administrative, or clerical environment.
- Ability to read, sort, and organize documents accurately.
