This role will oversee the billing team, manage the full billing cycle, and partner closely with attorneys and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily billing operations and monthly billing workflows
- Supervise and support billing staff performance and productivity
- Review invoices, billing edits, write-offs, and client billing requirements
- Ensure compliance with client guidelines and e-billing processes
- Partner with attorneys and finance teams to resolve billing issues and support collections efforts
- Assist with reporting, process improvements, and billing system updates
Qualifications
- 5 years of legal billing experience, preferably within a large law firm
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with legal billing and e-billing software platforms
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
