Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: $85,000-$95,000

Location: Brookfield, WI (On-site)

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening the accounting function following recent team transitions. This position offers the opportunity to improve internal controls, support financial audits, and contribute to key automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Assist in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Support internal and external audits, including balance sheet review and audit documentation
• Strengthen internal control processes and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to automation initiatives—document management systems, approval routing, and workflow improvements
• Assist with ERP transition from Macola to Acumatica
• Collaborate across departments to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline processes
• Perform additional projects assigned by the Controller

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, manufacturing preferred
• Public accounting or audit background strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience implementing automation, approval workflows, or internal control enhancements
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in standard office applications
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to prioritize effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
