I am looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant for reputable construction company here in Whitewater, WI (53190). This role will be permanent with benefits and is looking to interview/start immediately.
Pay: $85,000 - $95,000 (based on experience) & Benefits
Bonus: 7%
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401k, Tuition, PTO, Holidays, etc.
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F
Remote: Onsite to start, once candidate is fully trained it will be 3-4 days a week
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the development of the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, cost control, and profitability assessments. Identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Maintain the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Tax Compliance
- Assist in the coordination of financial audits by external auditors.
- Manage and optimize financial systems and accounting software, ensuring data accuracy
- Must Have- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business
