What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Counselor position at Connect Search, LLC?
As a Financial Counselor, you will:
- Conduct patient interviews and make payment arrangements
- Follow up on arrangements to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Investigate third-party payer coverage and confirm patient benefits
- Assist patients and guarantors in account payment and resolution services
- Document all calls, letters, and interviews in the patient’s file
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of Patient Access experience, ideally as a Benefit Advocate/Financial Counselor/Patient Registration
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish speaking is preferred)
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability
Salary : $18 - $21
