My client — a premier national developer and operator of hyperscale data centers — is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead high-visibility ground-up construction projects.
This is a true on-site leadership role at a major development campus. You’ll be based full-time at the project site with built-in periodic travel back home (all flights, ground transportation, lodging, and per diem fully covered), giving you the best of both hands-on impact and personal flexibility.
What You’ll Own
- End-to-end ownership of ground-up data center development from pre-construction through commissioning
- Direct leadership of construction partners, design teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Driving schedule, budget, quality, and safety performance on complex, mission-critical facilities
- Managing risk, change orders, and permitting in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering data center projects
- Strong preference for candidates with ground-up construction background in data centers or comparable critical facilities
- Proven ability to lead large-scale construction initiatives on time and on budget
- Deep knowledge of MEP systems, site infrastructure, and data center-specific requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to thrive in a matrixed, client-driven setting
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $140,000 – $180,000
- Annual performance bonus: 20%
