Summary
Connect Search is hiring a Demand Planner in Janesville.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintain accurate demand forecasts
- Manages exceptions and overrides to ensure forecast accuracy and responsiveness
- Generates new forecasts for new parts, incorporating market intelligence and historical analogs
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business objectives
- Oversees part lifecycle management, including phase-in/phase-out strategies
- Conducts obsolescence and excess inventory analysis, providing actionable recommendations to minimize waste and cost
- Supports warehouse balancing by analyzing regional demand and inventory levels to optimize stock distribution
- Continuously improves forecasting models and planning processes.
- Monitors forecast accuracy and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provides regular reports and insights to stakeholders across supply chain, sales, and finance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, statistics, or related
- 1-4 years of demand planning / forecasting experience
- Experience using reporting tools
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
