Job Summary
The Human Resources Director will oversee and lead all aspects of HR strategy and operations at Connect Pediatrics. This role will partner closely with the executive team to build and maintain a thriving culture, ensure compliance across multiple states, and support the company’s continued growth.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic HR leader with experience in employee relations, talent management, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development within a multi-location healthcare or service-based company.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals and growth plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Oversee benefits ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices across multiple locations.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives that promote retention and reinforce company culture.
- Manage investigations and employee relations matters with professionalism and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all states of operation.
- Drive organizational development and change management initiatives to support scalability.
- Partner with recruiting and department leaders to attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a multi-site service industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (Texas and multi-state experience preferred).
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence decisions, and drive positive organizational outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
