Industrial Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards within our production environment. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, project management, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives in production.
• Manufacturing software implementation project
• Find vendors for cheaper raw materials.
• Coordinate problem solving activities on the plant floor with multi-department resources
• Establish operational methods and work standards using various work measurement techniques
• Optimize use of floor space, materials, personnel, and equipment, Support manufacturing production teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues
• Responsible to find out efficient ways to use workers, machines, materials and information to make better products and improve process
• Planning and scheduling techniques to enhance productivity (weekly meeting)
• Responsible to work on projection including quality, continuous process improvement, ergonomics, standard work, lean manufacturing.
• Responsible to tackle machine utilization, downtime issue, troubleshooting and standard procedure for lock out tag out.
• Documentation of standard work procedures.
• Preparing cost sheets for adding new customers/new styles.
• Costing/Price increase updates.
• Working on time studies and process improvement.
• Working on CAD drawings and nesting software
• Keeping track of Operation and Maintenance project.
• Inventory tracking and Bun allocation process improvement implementation project.
• Oversee server backups and other IT related stuff
• Collect and analyze the data to help Production and Business.
• Occasional Quality checks and resolve customer Quality issues.
• Analysis on Imports from China to check if its profitable.
