Class A Truck Driver
Site Contractor, located in Riverhead, seeks immediate hire of a Class A Truck Driver.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and experience operating dump trailers. Construction industry experience is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and dump trailers.
- Transport construction materials, equipment, and other loads to and from job sites.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL – Required
- Dump trailer experience – Required
- Clean driving record.
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
- Construction or heavy highway experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver a tractor-trailer in and around active construction sites.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
