Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Manager of Operations in the wholesale trade industry is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability across business units. This role requires strategic leadership to develop and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. The manager will analyze financial metrics and key performance indicators to drive informed decision-making and align operations with organizational goals. Ultimately, the Manager of Operations will serve as a pivotal link between executive leadership and operational teams, delivering measurable business results through effective management and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the wholesale trade or a related industry.
• Proven experience in leadership development and team management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial metrics and key performance indicators.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience with advanced business unit financial management and reporting tools.
• Certification in supply chain or operations management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems used in wholesale trade.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop operational teams through effective leadership development and team-building initiatives.
• Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics to assess business unit performance.
• Oversee warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed business unit analysis and reporting to senior management to support strategic planning.
• Manage business unit financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements and operational best practices.
