Staff Accountant - Financial Services
Stamford, CT (Hybrid, 1-2 days in office)
A fast-growing financial services company is looking for a sharp, analytical Staff Accountant to join the team. This is a great role for someone with 2–5 years of experience who wants broad accounting exposure and the chance to grow in a scaled, high-performing environment.
What You’ll Do
• Support corporate accounting processes across the close cycle
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables
• Handle AP/AR activity and help refine internal workflows
• Analyze data, identify trends, and flag issues proactively
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and improve processes
• Own tasks end-to-end rather than just “plugging numbers in”
What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong analytical mindset and the ability to figure things out independently
• Comfortable working in fast-growing, evolving environments
• Someone who’s curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions
Comp: 80–90k base bonus
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
