Senior Sourcing Specialist, Data Center Construction
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent sourcing experience.
- 10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement roles, with a focus on Design and Construction Sourcing with an understanding of facility management as a component of the construction lifecycle, or 8 years of experience with an MBA/advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience leveraging technology for development/management of key performance indicators (KPIs)/metrics, analyzing data, generating reports, and providing insights supporting sourcing strategy and decision-making...
- Experience working on major construction builds for advanced data centers, ground up, green fields; and understanding the nuances associated. Such as specialty consultant engagements, long lead purchases and driving against concurrent scheduling.
- Experience with constraint management, capacity planning, and generating models of demand signals to identify, characterize, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Experience in project management and ability to lead projects/initiatives while managing BAU projects. Delivering timely responses and managing several projects.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with competing priorities. Ability to dissect and triage as necessary.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for RFP, Awards, Task Management.

The Senior Sourcing Specialist should be able to hit the ground running. Ability to utilize AI for new sources of information and tools is key to success. Responsibilities
- Develop, and execute on the Sourcing strategies aligned with this project, including all materials and services.
- Develop Sourcing strategies that leverages buying power over a multi-year plan.
- Manage Contracts: partner with Legal to draft, negotiate and execute contracts, including compliance with legal regulatory and company standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives. Monitor long lead items and manage to a construction schedule. Including developing internal solutions for warehousing of items with extremely long lead times.
- Execute sourcing strategies, RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier evaluations within designated categories.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and identify value opportunities within the category. As well as ability to pivot in market conditions necessitating changes in strategy.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation within the category.
- Be able to roll up their sleeves to address administrative tasks of updating systems, generating tickets and following up on ticket status. Providing updates as necessary to correct team members or directing next actions to completion of the tasks.
Salary : $145,000 - $165,000
