Property Manager – PBV & LIHTC Community
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee daily operations of our Project-Based Voucher (PBV) and LIHTC community. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high occupancy, and provide excellent resident services.
Responsibilities
- Market vacant units in accordance with organizational, HUD, PBV, and LIHTC guidelines to ensure timely leasing
- Maintain and monitor the property waitlist per established HUD and LIHTC requirements
- Oversee tenant selection and ensure compliance with applicant screening and tenant selection plans
- Coordinate resident move-ins, including collecting deposits, completing required paperwork, and conducting new resident orientations
- Collect, post, and monitor monthly rents, including resident and housing assistance payments
- Safeguard all funds and ensure rents are posted accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain positive tenant relations by responding to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Coordinate unit turnover, repairs, and maintenance with Facilities Management
- Process resident move-outs in compliance with PBV and LIHTC guidelines
- Enforce lease compliance, including preparation and service of lease violation notices
- Initiate and process court actions and attend court proceedings related to evictions when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing PBV, LIHTC, or HUD-assisted housing required
- Strong knowledge of HUD regulations, LIHTC compliance, and fair housing laws
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
Preferred (Optional)
- LIHTC certification (COS, C3P, or equivalent)
- Yardi, or similar property management software experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
