We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Information Technology to oversee the company's day-to-day IT operations and technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing corporate hardware, software, communications systems, end-user support, and technology vendors while supervising one IT Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the IT Manager and oversee daily IT support activities.
- Manage company laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related hardware.
- Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Oversee corporate network infrastructure, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN access, and telecommunications systems.
- Support conference room technology, audio/visual equipment, video conferencing platforms, and meeting room systems.
- Manage office printers, copiers, scanners, and print management solutions.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware deployment, account setup, and access management.
- Ensure timely resolution of help desk tickets and technical support requests.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and equipment suppliers.
- Maintain cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, software updates, backups, and data security protocols.
- Track IT assets, software licensing, warranties, and technology inventory.
- Assist with technology upgrades, system implementations, and office technology projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of IT operations and systems administration experience.
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, email systems, Windows environments, and user support.
- Experience supporting laptops, printers, copiers, mobile devices, conference room technology, and office AV systems.
- Working knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and endpoint management.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support both executives and end users.
