A mid-sized, multi-location organization is seeking an HR Manager to support a distributed operational workforce. This role sits at the intersection of HR and frontline operations, with a strong emphasis on execution, leadership partnership, and workforce effectiveness.
This is a fully onsite role with 30–40% travel.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary HR partner to operational leaders across multiple sites
- Support day-to-day workforce needs in a fast-paced, hourly employee environment
- Lead employee relations matters, including investigations and performance management guidance
- Drive consistency in HR practices, policies, and processes across locations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal standards
- Oversee core HR processes such as payroll coordination, employee data management, and reporting
- Analyze workforce trends and partner with leadership to address gaps in performance, retention, and productivity
What They’re Looking For
- 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Background supporting manufacturing, industrial, or similar operational environments is required
- Experience working across multiple locations or business units
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations and employment law
- Comfortable in a hands-on, highly visible role within operations
- Ability to influence leaders and navigate a fast-moving environment
Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
