What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Confidential?
We are seeking a highly qualified Sr. Accountant with strong accounting and finance experience, including a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate should demonstrate full ownership of day-to-day accounting and finance activities and be committed to strengthening our accounting infrastructure while overseeing financial operations end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations: Lead the management, execution, and day-to-day review of all accounting operations through to the Month-End close.
- Financial Control: Perform detailed review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Audit & Compliance: Provide comprehensive support during internal and external audits; maintain relationships with national and international law organizations and regulatory bodies.
- Cross-Functional Support: Act as a key point of contact for internal support across all areas of the company, ensuring financial alignment with business operations.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous strengthening of the accounting infrastructure and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Languages: Advanced level of English (mandatory for global coordination).
- Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar Senior Accountant position.
Technical Skills:
- Accounting Standards: Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and high level of knowledge in PGC (Plan General Contable).
- Systems: Advanced proficiency in SAP.
- Software: Advanced use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
Regular Interlocutors:
- Internal: FIN Department, Production Department, Legal Department, and cross-functional teams (Treasury, AR, etc.).
- External: External advisors (legal/tax/accounting), Customers, and Suppliers.
