Security Service Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Service Technician II to install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in commercial and secure environments. This role is service-focused and includes responding to client service calls across multiple system types, including nurse call, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and intrusion detection systems.The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform repairs and replacements, provide technical support and training, and maintain accurate service documentation. Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and customers is essential to success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in commercial and secure facilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system malfunctions efficientlyRepair or replace faulty equipment and componentsRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerProvide technical support and user training to customers as neededMaintain detailed and accurate service reports and documentationCoordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issuesEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirementsWork ScheduleHours and days may varyMust be available to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts as requiredRequired Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing security, nurse call, and fire life safety systemsExperience with systems such as EST3, Lenel, and Ascom strongly preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid California Drivers License with proof of auto insuranceAbility to obtain required vaccinations and immunizations to meet client and site requirementsPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to drive 2 hours per workday, dailyAbility to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, dailyAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperaturesAbility to ascend/descend and work at heights above 6 feet, occasionallyAbility to move or transport items weighing up to 20 pounds, occasionallyAbility to work in confined spaces, occasionallyFrequent pushing and pulling using upper extremitiesAbility to stand or sit for extended periods (4 hours), dailyFrequent operation of a company vehicleWork environments may include construction sites, commercial facilities, high-rise/mid-rise buildings, and hospitals with potential patient contactWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPaid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)
