We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Safety Consultant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide guidance on occupational safety & health policies to ensure legal compliance.
- Lead safety training sessions including OSHA compliance, safety (EHS) procedures for employees at all levels.
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents or near-misses.
- Conduct audits and prepare detailed safety reports and documentation.
- Stay current with industry standards, legislative changes, and emerging safety technologies to continuously improve safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Safety Consultant, Contractor or similar role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Certifications in CPR, first aid, OSHA standards, or occupational health are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills for delivering training sessions and advising management teams.
- Ability to interpret safety regulations and translate them into practical workplace procedures.
