We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN / LPN Unit Manager to oversee nursing operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, including registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs), ensuring high-quality patient care delivery.
- Coordinate daily unit operations, including patient assessments, medication administration, and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Oversee compliance with nursing policies, long-term care regulations, and safety protocols such as infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Manage staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations to promote team development and retention.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary communication among healthcare providers to support comprehensive discharge planning, case management, and utilization review.
- Ensure accurate medical records management using electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
- Extensive experience in nursing leadership or management roles within acute care, long-term care, or specialized settings such as ICU or trauma centers.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and patient-centered care coordination.
