Condo/Hotel Guest Services Associate
Immediate opening for a full-time and part time experienced Front Desk Clerk to work at an ocean front resort.
You MUST have at lease (2) two years hotel front desk experience to qualify for this position. This is a requirement for this position, please do not apply if you do not have minimum 2 years HOTEL/RESORT front desk experience.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers, in English. Must be a self-starter, organized, able to assist client needs, and provide overall guest satisfaction. Directly responsible for efficient check-in and check-out procedures as well as providing the highest level of professional and courteous service to guests. Must be knowledgeable in all resort services and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have prior experience with hotel front desk procedures.
- At least (2) two-years hotel front desk/reservation service experience required for consideration for the position.
- Must speak fluent English. Other languages welcomed.
- Must have a clean background. We do perform criminal history background checks and people with criminal histories should not apply for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints and needs.
- May routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with co-workers and perform other duties as assigned.
This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Handling objects, products, and computer equipment. Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.
