Duties
- Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies.
- Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure high standards of assisted living, nursing home, home care, and memory care services are consistently delivered.
- Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, families, and residents to facilitate smooth communication and holistic care delivery.
- Manage daily operations related to resident activities, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures within the community setting.
- Monitor residents’ progress and adjust care plans accordingly to promote health, safety, and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident records, incident reports, medication logs, and care plans in accordance with legal standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments with a strong understanding of long-term care operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a compassionate work environment.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care techniques, memory support strategies, and behavioral management.
