Duties

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies.
  • Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure high standards of assisted living, nursing home, home care, and memory care services are consistently delivered.
  • Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, families, and residents to facilitate smooth communication and holistic care delivery.
  • Manage daily operations related to resident activities, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures within the community setting.
  • Monitor residents’ progress and adjust care plans accordingly to promote health, safety, and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident records, incident reports, medication logs, and care plans in accordance with legal standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments with a strong understanding of long-term care operations.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a compassionate work environment.
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care techniques, memory support strategies, and behavioral management.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple residents’ needs simultaneously while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, staff members, and residents’ loved ones.
  • Financial acumen related to budgeting within a healthcare or senior living setting; ability to manage resources efficiently.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and compliance standards in home & community care settings. Pay: $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
