Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified QBS Trainer - BCBA to join our team, committed to delivering exceptional behavioral services and training within a clinical setting. The QBS Trainer - BCBA will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to best practices, medical documentation standards, and client-centered care.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff on applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior intervention plans, and data collection methodologies.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to behavior technicians and team members, ensuring fidelity to treatment protocols.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to inform individualized treatment plans.
- Lead intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new clients, including autism spectrum disorder support and neurodevelopmental disorder evaluations.
- Oversee data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective behavior intervention strategies tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain detailed medical records, progress notes, and documentation of client assessments in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Support home-based behavioral interventions and school-based programs to promote consistency across environments.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Must be a certified QBS Safety-Care Trainer.
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional assessment, and behavioral health principles.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Skilled in conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and functional behavior assessments (FBA).
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and progress updates to families and caregivers.
- Proven ability to provide clinical supervision while fostering professional development among team members.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as schools, clinics, or home environments is highly desirable.
