Property Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Property Manager.

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multifamily apartment communities, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for hiring and holding accountable team members which include leasing and maintenance.
• Provide continuous learning and development to their team.
• Ensure that all prospects, residents, and vendors have a positive interaction with team members.
• Maintains property occupancy by advertising and filling vacancies and enforcing lease agreements.
• Financial responsibilities include approving and submitting invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers for payment by reconciling work performed or products purchased, month-end reporting, and providing input on the development of the annual budget processes.
• Completes various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports and performs other duties as assigned.
• Conducts weekly property inspections and takes appropriate actions to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, grounds, buildings, and amenities meet established standards for safety, cleanliness, and general appearance and appeal.
• Respond to all emergencies to ensure the safety of residents, community, and staff.
• Identifies areas of improvement and offers suggestions to improve the property’s productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 5 years of experience as a manager of multi-family asset
• Computer skills including Microsoft office products
• Strong proficiency in using property management software (Yardi Preferred)
• Strong sales and leasing acumen
• Ability to be flexible with work hours as needed to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied. Working extra hours or weekends, when necessary
• Ability to work with a diverse culture
• Excellent customer service skills to include oral and written communication
• High integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven and self-directed
• Must have a current driver’s license
