Position Overview
A growing behavioral healthcare organization is confidentially seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an adolescent residential treatment program in the Coeur d’Alene/Spokane area.
The Program Manager will partner with clinical, nursing, education, direct-care, admissions, and administrative teams to maintain a safe, structured, and client-centered treatment environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience developing teams, managing program operations, and supporting adolescents within a behavioral health or residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the program’s daily operations and service-delivery standards.
- Supervise, coach, and support program employees while promoting accountability and a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate across clinical, nursing, education, admissions, and direct-care teams to maintain continuity of care.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Monitor program safety, organization, documentation, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Participate in leadership meetings, treatment-team coordination, incident reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve client care, communication, and program efficiency.
- Respond effectively to behavioral escalations, staffing challenges, and other urgent program needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, healthcare administration, business administration, education, or a related field preferred.
- Previous leadership or program-management experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, or human services.
- Experience working with adolescents, families, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with staff supervision, crisis response, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team-development skills.
- Ability to work on-site with schedule flexibility based on program needs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to satisfy all background and pre-employment requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation starts at $60,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is also available and will be discussed during the interview process.
