Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP to align with customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and plant management teams to coordinate production activities and prioritize tasks for optimal throughput.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to forecast material needs, manage inventory levels, and minimize waste through lean manufacturing principles.
- Monitor production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data and operations metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Support quality control initiatives by ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards and facilitating continuous process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, schedules, and related records to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management or manufacturing planning within a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Knowledge of MRP systems, supply chain analytics, and operations management best practices.
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement initiatives, and plant management strategies.
- Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly processes is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data for supply chain optimization and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
