What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Confidential?
Our Growing Manufacturing company is seeking a Process Engineer to help optimize the rotational molding process, troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements to maximize efficiency, minimizing downtime, and reduce scrap.
Overall Responsibilities
- Optimize rotational molding process by monitoring and adjusting rotational molding machine settings like heat profiles, rotation speeds, and cooling cycles.
- Analyzing process data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production efficiency.
- Conducting experiments to test new resin materials and their compatibility with the rotational molding process.
- Analyzing mold designs for optimal functionality and manufacturability.
- Inspecting and trialing new molds and parts for defects like wall thickness variations, seams, and surface imperfections.
- Working with OEM customers to ensure quality specifications are understood, measured, and achievable in a repeatable and reproducible process.
- Remain up to date on current technological progress to ensure company’s products remain marketable and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field, from four-year accredited college or university.
- Plus, two or more years related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
