Our client is seeking a hands-on President & General Manager to take full ownership of a technician- and sales-driven service and installation business. This role carries eight-figure P&L responsibility and is charged with stabilizing operations, improving sales execution, and driving profitable growth in a primarily B2C/B2B, customer-facing environment, while also strengthening B2B and outside sales relationships that support installation volume. The GM will lead pricing and promotional strategies, improve lead conversion, and establish disciplined sales activity across both inbound residential demand and contractor or builder-driven installation work. This position plays a critical role in guiding the business from a period of transition into a structured, scalable residential and commercial services platform with consistent performance.
*Position requires experience selling direct B2C and B2B, residential, commercial and adjacent spaces - contractors, builders, HVAC, plumbing, windows/doors, flooring, etc. No retail.*
- Residential and Commercial Service & Installation Leadership (B2B and B2C): Proven experience leading a service and installation business, (HVAC, plumbing, garage doors, electrical), with demonstrated success driving growth and improving sales performance.
- Sales Growth & Revenue Acceleration: Hands-on experience improving sales execution in a high-volume, customer-facing environment, including pricing strategy, discounting, promotions, lead conversion, and outbound sales activity.
- Outside Sales and Operations for Installation: Experience supporting or directly managing B2B/B2C and outside sales and operations efforts tied to installation work, such as relationships with builders, contractors, or trade partners, while balancing industry demand.
- Full P&L Ownership in Service Businesses: Demonstrated success owning full P&L responsibility within a technician-based service and installation model, including labor management, margin optimization, and cost control.
- Operational & Change Leadership: A track record of stabilizing and scaling service operations by implementing structure, accountability, and disciplined processes across technicians, scheduling, inventory, and field execution.
