An established, interventional pain management practice in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our growing clinical team.
We are looking for a motivated, personable provider who enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients and working collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty practice. Experience in pain management is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in orthopedics, neurosurgery, PM&R, anesthesia, spine care, or other related specialties are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage new and established patients
Obtain histories and perform focused physical examinations
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the physician
Review imaging, laboratory results, and medical records
Manage appropriate medications and follow-up care
Educate patients regarding treatment options
Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in procedural care and additional clinical training as appropriate
Qualifications
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
Current Kentucky license or eligibility for Kentucky licensure
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the physician and clinical team
Pain management or related specialty experience is preferred but not required
