Payroll Administrator
Salary: $55,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About Us
We are hiring an experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll functions within a dynamic industrial setting. This role ensures the accurate and compliant multi-state processing of payroll for multiple business units We are a long‑established manufacturer with a strong reputation for producing premium specialty metals.
What You’ll Do
- Process multi‑state payroll for multiple entities
- Review and reconcile daily timecards
- Track employee data (rate changes, probation, union eligibility, attendance, vacation, etc.)
- Calculate pension contributions and union dues
- Prepare payroll journal entries and payroll reports
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll records
- Support accounts payable: coding invoices, processing vendor payments
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close and internal controls
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3–5 years of payroll and/or accounting experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills
Compensation & Schedule
- $55,000 annually
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
- Salary based on experience
