About the Company
A respected and growing law firm in North Alabama is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas, including Family Law, Litigation, Real Estate, and Estate Planning.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys while helping deliver outstanding service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents
- Maintain case files, court calendars, and filing deadlines
- Assist with legal research, discovery, and trial preparation
- Coordinate communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Support residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
- Prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related materials
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance throughout all aspects of case management
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
- Minimum of two years of paralegal experience
- Experience in litigation, family law, real estate, and/or estate planning
- Real estate closing experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Experience with Clio, Alacourt, and AlaFile is preferred
Pay range and compensation package
Salary Range: $55,449 - $59,101
