Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing granite and countertop fabrication business. This leadership role is responsible for managing production flow, installation scheduling, employee performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has management experience in countertops, construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field — however, we are willing to train the right person with strong leadership skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the countertop shop and installation teams
- Manage and lead approximately 15 employees across fabrication, warehouse, and installation departments
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time
- Maintain workflow efficiency from templating to fabrication and installation
- Monitor quality control and ensure high standards are maintained
- Handle employee scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
- Work closely with sales staff and customers to ensure smooth project communication
- Help resolve customer concerns and jobsite issues professionally
- Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and material coordination
- Improve operational processes and team productivity
QualificationsPreferred:
- Experience in granite, quartz, countertops, cabinetry, construction, fabrication, or manufacturing
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
