What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Confidential?
This position is full-time (3) 12 hour shifts
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide family primary care services.
· Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols
· Provide health screenings, immunizations, and other disease prevention programs
· Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions in order to meet the needs of patients and/or families served
· Provide patient/family education, health coaching, and health advocacy services of patients and/or their families
· Provide occupational care, as needed
· Administer medicines and treatments
· Order, administer and analyze the diagnostic tests
· Monitor the effectiveness of interventions
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
· Enter patient data into the EMR system
· Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
· Perform related duties, as required REQUIREMENTS
· Excellent verbal and communication skills
· Experience with EMR systems
· Adaptable in differing situations
· Able to multi-task and work independently.
· Must be flexible with hours/shifts, if assigned
· Demonstrate professionalism at all times
· Display teamwork with a team player mindset
· Be organized with attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
· Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Indiana
· Have experience working with family care
· Licensed in the State of Indiana
· Prescriptive authorization
· Licensed as an RN and APN Nurse Practitioner (NP)
· Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience preferred
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
