Duties
- Manage materials procurement using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to ensure timely availability of components for production.
- Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels across warehouses.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and facilitate effective supplier management.
- Support production scheduling and planning by providing accurate materials data and demand forecasts through inventory management systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Maintain detailed records of purchasing activities, inventory movements, and contract documentation using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office tools.
- Monitor MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to align materials availability with production needs while implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or materials coordination within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS; experience with inventory management systems is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in purchasing, procurement, and supplier management to optimize supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with production planning, demand planning, and manufacturing company practices.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory control techniques to enhance efficiency.
