What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Manager position at Confidential?
This is an overnight shift position
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable all employees
- Assign work/Supervise shift employees.
- Set goals for shift employees and monitor their progress.
- Maintain operation conditions within set tolerances
- Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
- Complete job changeovers
- Maintain plant cleanliness and organization
- Maintain 5S at the workstation.
- Ensure operators and material handlers keep their workstations clean and neat.
- Perform and evaluate operator training
- Maintain training records in each job folder.
- Maintain Production Skills Matrix.

Minimum Qualifications for Hire
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a team in a production envrionment
- Comfortable using basic computer software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable with basic hand tools.
- Forklift Certified.
- Knowledge of general safety best practices.
- Knowledge of all applicable quality standards.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
