Duties
- Assist machinists with setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and other fabrication equipment
- Handle materials using forklifts and other materials handling tools to ensure smooth workflow within the manufacturing facility
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met
- Prepare tooling, fixtures, and raw materials for machining operations, ensuring proper placement and safety compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine shop area, including tool storage and workspace safety protocols
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
Skills
- Knowledge of factory safety procedures, materials handling equipment such as forklifts, and warehouse experience
- Basic math skills essential for measurements, calculations, and quality control tasks
- Familiarity with fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, assembly line operations, and packaging workflows
