What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Helper position at ASC MACHINE TOOLS INC?
Pay: $18.75/hr
- Verify and keep records on incoming completed internal manufactured parts.
- Duties include receiving, verifying and recording incoming manufactured parts. Notify department of parts received or stock parts in appropriate location. Pull, stage and deliver all parts required for jobs as detailed on Production Control Pull Sheet.
- Examine contents and compare with traveler to verify accuracy of incoming manufactured parts.
- Deliver or route manufactured parts to bin location, job box or department, using hand truck or forklift.
- Daily, pull, stage and deliver parts for all departments based on Production Control Pull Sheet or as requested by Departmental Foreman.
- Determine effective staging, palletizing, etc. Keep warehouse organized. Complete any other duties assigned by the Production/Inventory Manager.
- Every morning review at least 3 parts returned from Assembly and place part in appropriate warehouse.
- Take appropriate measures to ensure protection of parts from damage when receiving, pulling, staging, boxing and delivering.
Qualifications:EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years previous warehouse experience helpful.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Basic computer skills including excel.
PHYSICAL: Sitting, lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and walking. Must be able to use the telephone and the computer.
MENTAL: Attention to detail.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Warehouse environment.
