We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of leasing experience and be professional, ambitious, and growth-oriented.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and customer service skills. The Leasing Agent plays an important role in maximizing customer satisfaction, property efficiency, tenant quality of life, and overall teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including overseeing the leasing office, conducting property tours, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and helping ensure a smooth move-in process.
- Greet prospective and current residents, assess their needs, answer questions, and provide tours of available apartments and the community.
- Process rental applications and prepare and review lease agreements and renewals.
- Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, including providing leasing information, scheduling appointments, and creating and following up on maintenance requests.
- Receive deposits and rental payments and ensure they are accurately recorded.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist prospective and current residents with a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
Leasing Agent requirements:
- Working experience in property management/ real estate
- Proven track record of successful leasing/management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
- Customer service orientation, Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
