This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial close processes, and day-to-day accounting activities. The position is hands-on and supports accurate financial reporting, compliance, and the integrity of financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage full-cycle accounting and financial close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform and review general ledger reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support variable compensation and reimbursement processing
- Monitor cash flow and support cash planning activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as needed
- Support and guide junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience, including experience with financial close
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience managing or supporting close processes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Salary range: $90,000 – $120,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be offered.
