Position Summary:
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for production materials and finished goods.
· Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
· Update and maintain inventory records in the system.
· Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing materials in the warehouse.
· Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
· Identify discrepancies and recommend solutions to improve inventory accuracy.
· Follow all safety and quality protocols in the warehouse and production areas.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification is a plus.
· Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or production environment preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to use inventory management software and basic computer programs.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
