Role Description
The Human Resources Payroll Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Denton, TX. This position is responsible for administering payroll processes, including data entry, time and attendance verification, paycheck calculation, and coordination of payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments. The role manages employee benefits-related payroll deductions, ensures compliance with HR policies and legal requirements, and maintains accurate records within HRIS and other HR systems. Day-to-day tasks include responding to employee inquiries about pay and benefits, preparing payroll reports, supporting audits, and collaborating with HR and finance teams to improve processes and resolve discrepancies. The administrator contributes to a positive employee experience by providing clear communication, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting broader HR initiatives.
The position is 100% onsite - no hybrid or remote.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) knowledge, including HR policies and basic employment law understanding.
- Candidates should possess Payroll Administration skills, such as payroll processing, reconciliation, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Candidates should possess experience with Employee Benefits administration, including deductions, enrollments, and coordination with payroll.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related payroll or timekeeping systems.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across HR, finance, and operations.
- Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced organization with number of daily deadlines.
- Must be experienced in Excel, including building spreadsheets and pivot tables
