We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support business leaders and employees across a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to leadership, helping drive people initiatives, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Position Overview
- This role operates with broad direction and significant autonomy, partnering closely with senior leaders on strategic HR initiatives, complex employee matters, and people-related business priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with respective business units
- Attend staff meetings as appropriate
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Assist people managers with processes related to new hires, promotions, and transfers
- Assist international employees with immigration and related HR matters in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Help managers identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Serve as a liaison and partner with the learning and development team as appropriate
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow up on training objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Five or more (5 ) years of progressively responsible HR experience
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, immigration employment visa processes, and federal and state employment laws and regulation
- Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and information and resolving complex employee relations issue
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and UKG Pro
- Experience understanding business priorities and integrating HR strategies to meet business need
- Track record of strong business partnership and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
