Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for multiple healthcare clinics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient management, medical records, billing, and administrative support functions.
- Manage and supervise healthcare staff, including nurses, administrative personnel, and clinical support teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state/federal health policies through rigorous policy implementation and staff training.
- Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, overseeing medical billing processes, and implementing effective fiscal management strategies.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and patient management software to optimize workflow efficiency and data accuracy.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational excellence while managing utilization review and managed care processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively as a healthcare practice manager.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO accreditation standards, and health regulation policies.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes.
- Solid understanding of fiscal management principles including budgeting, financial analysis, medical billing, and cost control strategies.
- Background in nursing or acute/critical care experience is advantageous for understanding clinical workflows and patient care standards.
