The Head of Global Trading will architect and lead the operational buildout of the firm’s global execution platform. This includes designing systematic trading solutions, developing automation and trading systems, managing relationships with brokers and financial partners, and overseeing all aspects of execution and treasury operations. This is a highly hands-on, technically demanding leadership role that blends trading, quantitative research, systems engineering, and cross-asset treasury expertise. Key Responsibilities
Execution Research & System Development
- Lead research initiatives focused on execution enhancement and systematic process improvement.
- Develop and engineer trading systems, automation tools, and infrastructure that optimize execution quality and reduce operational friction.
- Prioritize building repeatable, scalable “machines” over discretionary trading approaches.
Trade Execution
- Execute trades across global markets and multiple asset classes.
- Oversee and mentor a small trading team responsible for high-quality execution.
- Ensure first-class execution standards in all markets and trading conditions.
Treasury & Funding Management
- Manage daily liquidity, cash optimization, funding instruments, FX, repo, and stock loan activities.
- Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Portfolio Implementation to ensure optimal treasury operations.
- Oversee short-term and long-term funding strategies to support investment activity.
Global Market Access & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain expert knowledge of global market-access rules and regulatory frameworks.
- Navigate region-specific complexities, particularly across Asian and emerging markets.
- Ensure all trading activity adheres to global compliance requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal investment, portfolio implementation, technology, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
- Support tax-sensitive implementation choices, trading frequency optimization, and asset selection strategies.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in current trading workflows and design systematic solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Lead projects that drive process innovation within a high-performance investment environment.
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Proven experience designing and building automated trading systems within a multi-asset global market environment.
- Strong coding competency (e.g., Python, C , or similar) and comfort with data-driven execution research.
- Deep familiarity with cash instruments, futures, FX, government bonds, repo, and securities lending.
- Direct experience in treasury or funding operations is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of global regulatory regimes, including market-access considerations for non-U.S. markets.

Salary : $600,000 - $625,000
