MK Production is a growing general contracting company providing high-quality construction, renovation, and maintenance services. We are looking for a dependable and skilled General Contracting Technician to join our team and support a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general contracting tasks including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and light plumbing/electrical work
- Assist with renovation, repair, and remodeling projects
- Conduct site assessments and identify necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols and project guidelines
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
- Maintain organized job sites and ensure project quality
- Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site solutions
Required:
- Proven experience in general contracting, construction, or maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of tools, materials, and construction techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Trade-related certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Experience in both residential and commercial work
- Ability to read blueprints
