Foundry Pourer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Mandatory Overtime: Fridays and Saturdays as production requires
Pay: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary
A West Michigan metal manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Foundry Pourer to safely and accurately pour molten metal into molds according to established procedures. This is a physically active role in a high-heat industrial environment and is essential to maintaining production quality and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Pour molten metal into molds in accordance with production requirements and safety standards
- Safely transport and position ladles used for molten metal
- Monitor pour quality, temperature, and mold fill levels
- Identify and report casting defects or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of foundry, casting, or heat-treating experience
- Ability to work in high-heat industrial environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use hands throughout the work shift
- Ability to understand and follow safety instructions and production procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Molten metal pouring experience
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial production experience
Work Environment
This position is performed in a hot, industrial foundry environment with exposure to molten metal, moving equipment, and industrial noise. Required PPE must be worn at all times.
