A growing Manufacturing services company is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead operations across multiple service branches within a designated region. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, managing personnel, and aligning each location with company goals and standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong business acumen and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Pay: $120k-$140k Bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for multiple service branches within the assigned region.
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) for each branch.
- Drive the sales funnel process to meet or exceed regional growth objectives.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings with Field Sales Managers (FSMs) to review open opportunities and order forecasts.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources to support current and future growth.
- Analyze financial reports (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Effectively communicate company strategy while upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Deliver financial targets with a focus on orders, revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA.
- Partner with New Business Development, National Account Managers, and the RVP to manage key accounts and expand market share.
- Support branch-level Lean/Safety/Workflow initiatives and communicate results to leadership.
- Meet with prospective customers, provide product/service information, and educate them on the organization’s offerings.
- Maintain awareness of competitive activity to ensure pricing remains competitive and reasonable.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key accounts, including periodic onsite customer visits.
- Lead weekly production meetings to support revenue and cash flow objectives.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
Requirements
Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, or branch management experience demonstrating a strong track record of operational and sales success.
Skills
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and operational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (experience with Sage300 and CRM platforms is a plus).
- Understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end close process.
- Strong leadership background with experience managing sales and operations teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and drive process improvements.
Ability
- Travel frequently (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) throughout the region to support branch operations.
- Positive, collaborative approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
